Movements into and within NSW

The Biosecurity Act 2015 (The Act) provides the legal basis for the prevention, elimination, minimisation and management of biosecurity risks, while the Regulation(s) establish many of the mandatory measures regarding movement of defined plant pest and disease carriers. Instruments such as Emergency Orders, Control Orders and the Biosecurity Order (Permitted Activities) permit activities that would otherwise be prohibited by a mandatory measure or by a regulatory measure implemented in relation to a biosecurity zone.

Movements from NSW
