Movement conditions for fresh produce

The Index of conditions of entry and movement of fruit and vegetables into and within NSW provides a summary of regulated fresh products.

How to use this table

Browse the table for each item to be moved into or within NSW. Different legislative instruments have varying requirements based on their unique circumstances.

Review all listed legislation applying to the state or territory the item is sent from, including movements within NSW.
Always check current legislation and maps for full details on the movement requirements before moving any plant products.

The number in brackets following each item refers to the Clause in that legislative instrument – e.g. “Med fly (63-65)” refers to Clauses 63, 64 and 65 in the Biosecurity Order of Permitted Activities (BOPA) which outlines the conditions to import conditions to import Mediterranean fruit fly carriers into NSW.
