Leaf: medium small, thin, papery, rather shiny and flat, leaf stalk upright. Shape: circular with attenuate tip and obtuse base, lower leaves somewhat lobed. Margin: irregular small serrations. Stipules: very small, inconspicuous. Shoot: whippy, no side shoots, buds far apart, straight. | |
| Vigour | Semi-dwarfing, similar to MM.106, about twice the size of M.9. | |
| Propagation | Reasonably productive in stool bed. | |
| Resistance | Moderate resistance to some strains of collar rot. | |
| Uses | Reasonable anchorage but may require some tree support. Prone to excessive suckering. Suitable for productive scion varieties in semi-intensive plantings. | |
