The first reintroduction of a critically endangered fish into NSW has proven successful! Recent monitoring has shown that Murray Hardyheads are thriving in their new home of Little Frenchman's Creek on the Murray River after being translocated from the SA Riverland late last year.
This successful reintroduction is a great example of how hard work and strong collaboration between local landholders, community groups and governments is ensuring water for the environment keeps our rivers and native fish healthy.
