The NSW DPIRD's On-Farm Carbon Advice project uses the Agriculture Innovation Australia (AIA) Environmental Accounting Platform (EAP) to support participants calculate their on-farm emissions.
The AIA Environmental Accounting Platform (EAP) provides a common and standardised approach to carbon accounting across multiple commodities. This tool was was built by AIA with investment from 10 rural Research and Development Corporations. and is consistent with the most widely-used calculators - the University of Melbourne's Primary Industries Climate Challenges Centre (PICCC) Greenhouse Accounting Frameworks (GAF) tools.
