Local Strategic Planning Statements – Agricultural Planning Advice for Councils

Summary

This document has been drafted to assist Councils in the preparation of their Local Strategic Planning Statements (LSPS). It is intended to provide both an approach to planning for agriculture and resources to draw upon to make the LSPS as relevant to primary production as possible.

The Land Use Planning team is interested in hearing from any Council staff or Councillors who make use of the document so that improvements can be made if necessary.
