The 2026 Sydney Royal Easter Show starts tomorrow, and the world-famous District Exhibits, the heart and soul of the Show, is bigger and better than ever.
The District Exhibits are one of the most famous — and uniquely Australian — attractions at the Show, showcasing regional agriculture, community pride, and creativity all in one place.
The Minns Labor Government is proud to be the sole sponsor of the iconic District Exhibits in 2026, consistently one of the most popular and celebrated attractions at the Show, with almost half a million people visiting the exhibits in 2025.
Each year, these displays are brought to life through the construction of stunning showcases featuring 10,000 fresh vegetables, fruits and other regional produce, all sourced and assembled by growers.
The result is a vivid demonstration of the diversity, quality and excellence of produce from across regional NSW.
In 2026, the District Exhibits are presented by growers and communities from the Northern, Central, Southern, and Western NSW Districts, each contributing their own character and agricultural strengths to the displays.
Today, the District Exhibits remain a true Show highlight, showcasing the state’s best produce that celebrates regional achievement.
It also raises awareness of key issues such as the impacts of droughts and floods on production, the journey of food from paddock to plate, the vital role of women in agriculture, and the rise of AgTech across farming communities.
In addition to the District Exhibits, the NSW Government is hosting four exciting exhibits located throughout the show.
In addition to the exhibits on display, the NSW Government’s Young Farmers Business Program will officially kick-off at the Sydney Royal Easter Show on 2 April with the Young Farmer Exchange event, helping NSW farmers set up for the opportunities and challenges ahead in the State’s booming agricultural industry.
Minister for Agriculture Tara Moriarty said:
“The NSW Government has a long history of supporting the Sydney Royal Easter Show, and that commitment continues in 2026.
“This year’s Show celebrates that strength and is a testament to the hardworking producers whose efforts are on full display throughout the Show, from the pavilions to the District Exhibits.
“The District Exhibits are steeped in tradition, showcasing the diversity and excellence of produce from our growing regions and remains a highlight for visitors of all ages.
“These displays reflect the vibrancy and strength of our regional communities sustained by hardworking producers who keep New South Wales fed, supplied, and thriving.
“I encourage all visitors to the Sydney Royal Easter Show to explore the District Exhibits, speak with the producers who have brought these displays to life, and learn more about the regions that sustain our state.”
