Aquaculture production returns for 2024-25

The annual aquaculture production returns are now available for completion.

All current permit holders must provide their aquaculture production data for the 2024-25 financial year. It is important that every permit holder submits a production return to reflect a true industry picture.

Your production return must be submitted by 30 September 2025.

There are 4 ways in which you can submit your production return:

1. Online. If you or an agent has access to AquaDirect, your production return is now available online. Go to AquaDirect to complete it.
   If you would like to sign up to AquaDirect, go to AquaDirect user access application.
2. Download a paper copy. You can download the form that applies to your business and return it via email or post:
   1. If you hold a class A aquaculture permit, complete this form (PDF, 194.9 KB).
   2. If you hold a class B aquaculture permit, complete this form (PDF, 106.05 KB).
   3. If you hold a land-based permit (class C, D, E, F or H), complete this form (PDF, 133.27 KB).
3. Ask for a paper copy. Contact Aquaculture Administration on 1300 603 845 and we will send you a paper copy of the production return in the post.
4. Confirm nil production via email. If you have had nil production in 2024-25, you can email this information to us at aquaculture.administration@dpird.nsw.gov.au. Make sure you quote your permit number in the email.
