What is an agent?
You can appoint an agent to manage your online aquaculture business on your behalf. An agent must be an individual.
If your permits or leases are held by a company or partnership, you will need to appoint an agent to access your aquaculture account. This may be yourself, as a director or partner, or it may be another individual (for example, an admin person for your business).
There are 4 levels of permissions that can be given to an agent in AquaDirect:
- View aquaculture business details
- Submit production returns
- Manage agent permissions
- Level 1 transactions (update customer details, renew leases)
You are responsible for giving an agent access to your online business, so it is important that you consider this decision carefully.
