How to apply
The Aboriginal Fishing Trust Fund uses the online platform SmartyGrants for applications.
Applicants will be required to complete the online application for the relevant funding round.
We encourage and prefer that applicants apply online using this system. However, if you have concerns or questions about using this online system or require assistance please contact the Aboriginal Fishing Trust Fund program team to discuss your concern by calling 1300 054 464 or emailing Aboriginal.fishing@dpird.nsw.gov.au
Loans
Applicants seeking an Aboriginal Fishing Trust Fund loan will need to complete the online general application form provided above.
The NSW Rural Assistance Authority will administer loans from the Aboriginal Fishing Trust Fund on behalf of the Department.
