NSW WeedWise
The free NSW WeedWise smartphone app is available for download via major app stores.
Like the web version, the smartphone app provides key information to help users reduce the impact of over 340 weeds in New South Wales.
The WeedWise app has a wide range of images and information about weeds including
- what they look like
- how they affect our environment, agriculture and health
- where they grow
- how they spread
- how you can manage weeds including Permit details and herbicide information
- legal obligations such as state and regional biosecurity duties under the Biosecurity Act 2015.
Who is the app for:

- landholders and land managers
- bush regenerators
- home gardeners
- weeds officers and biosecurity professionals.
App users can also report weed sightings directly through the app, helping authorities monitor and respond to outbreaks more efficiently.
